Red spider lily (花人;FLOWER HUMAN)

‘Red spider lily’ is part of the “花人;flower human” series, where flowers and leaves never meet.
Even though the flowers bloom beautifully, the leaves do not grow.
I wanted to express the sociological meaning of gender through the analogy of red spider lily as the flowers are defined as feminine and stems as masculine, .

꽃무릇은 花人 연작의 한 시리즈로
꽃과 잎이 영원히 만나지
않는다.
꽃이 아름답게
피어도 잎은 자라지 않는다.
꽃은 여성 줄기는 남성성으로 정의를 두고
“gender”사회학적 의미의 성을 꽃무릇에 비유해서 표현하고 싶었다.
