A different perspective of looking

Human beings are creatures of desire.
From the moment we enter the world to the end of our lives.
we are in constant inner conflict.

Whether it’s climbing a high mountain, going about our daily lives, or pursuing a spiritual path.
the desire for self-gratification is the same, only in a different form.

Constant war in the name of peace
Endless competition to achieve challenges and accomplishments
Taking sides in the name of communication and harmony
The desire to monopolize and own wonderful nature

I look at the world.
No, I look at what lies beyond desire.
To speak truthfully of my desires
I pick up my camera again today.

인간은 욕망을 가지고 살아가는 존재이다.
세상에 태어나면서부터 수명을 다하는 그 순간까지
끊임 없는 내적 갈등을 겪으며 존재한다.

높은 산에 오르거나, 일상 중에도, 수행의 도량을 향할때도
자기만족을 추구하는 욕망의 형식이 다를 뿐 그 본질은 다르지 않다.

평화를 추구한다는 이름으로 끊임 없는 전쟁
도전과 성취를 이루기 위한 무한 경쟁
소통과 화합이라는 주제를 던지면 편가르기
경의로운 자연을 독점하고 소유하려는 욕망

나는 세상을 바라본다.
아니 욕망의 너머에 있는 것을 바라본다.
나의 욕망을 진실 되게 말하기 위하여
오늘도 사진기를 든다.
