Meet the mysterious giant group dancing bimaculate duck in winter!

The bimaculate duck migration is a spectacular and mysterious event that can only be seen in Korea.
More than 90% of the world’s bimaculate duck come to Korea for wintering, migrating through the Han River estuary and Cheonsu Bay in Chungcheongnam-do, and the Geumgang River estuary, Donglim Reservoir in Gochang, Jeollabuk-do, and Junam Reservoir in Changwon, Gyeongnam-do returning to Siberia in the spring after wintering .
The group dance of hundreds of thousands of bimaculate duck is a rare sight that can only be seen in Korea.
As nocturnal birds, they prepare to migrate to their nighttime feeding grounds, and when they fly in unison at sunset, they form a variety of shapes, creating a mystery of natural ecosystems.

한국에서만 볼 수 있는 가창오리 군무는 장관이고, 신비롭다.
월동을 위해 전 세계 가창오리의 90% 이상이 대한민국을 찾아오는데, 한강하구와 충남 천수만을 거쳐 금강하구와 전북 고창 동림저수지, 경남 창원 주남저수지 등에서 월동 후 봄에 시베리아로로 귀소한다.
수 십만 마리 가창오리의 군무는 한국에서만 볼 수 있는 진기한 풍경이다.
야행성인 가창오리는 야간 섭식장소로 이동하기 위해 준비하는데, 노을진 저녁 무렵 일제히 비상하여 펼쳐지는 가창오리 군무는 여러 가지 형상을을 만들어 자연생태계의 신비를 만날 수 있다.
