In programming, the ‘while’ is a command that repeats a set of instructions as long as a specified condition is true. Similarly, urban life is characterized by repetitive patterns. The repetitive behaviors of individuals within a city, when aggregated, create larger, more visible patterns. Buildings, too, exhibit repetitive elements. Many buildings share common features like rows of windows. This repetition mirrors the iterative nature of programming loops and the cyclical patterns of urban life.
A programmer in the city finds the repetition of the city’s buildings like a ‘while’ command. Almost all the photos taken near my home and workplace capture this sense of repetition. They depict the sights and experiences of a single individual immersed in the recurring patterns of everyday life. The word ‘while,’ meaning ‘during the time that,’ encapsulates the ongoing nature of these observations.

As a software engineer and photographer at the same time, he brings a unique perspective to his photography, often exploring the intersections of technology and the human experience. His work has been recognized in numerous international photography competitions, including the IPA and Chromatic Awards.
