Collapse of days

I am watching after all.
The neighborhood that nurtured my dreams crumbling under the weight of time.

So I document the new ones as they take hold.

One photo by one person,
to show that this is what we used to look like.

In the space where everyone left
the echoes of my childhood laughter and chatter remain.
I recall in my memory.

나는 결국 지켜보고 있다.
시절에 의해 나의 꿈을 키우던
동네가 무너지고

새로운 것들이 자리매김하는
모습을 그래서 기록한다

한 장의 사진이 한 사람에 의해
그 시절 우리의 모습은 이러했다는 것을
보여주기 위해

모두가 떠나간 공간 속에
나의 어린 시절 웃고 떠들어댔던
소리가 메아리처럼 남아있음을
나의 기억 속에서 회상한다.
